Viewing terrace is between the Old Town and Krakowskie Przedmiescie street. It offers one of the prettiest views of the Old Town and the east side of Warsaw.

Fountains are on Podzamcze, near the Old Town.

DURING THE SUMMER:

They are open from May to September everyday 8:30-22:30. Additionally, on every Friday and Saturday are admirable multimedia shows: from May to August - 21:30 and on September - 21:00.

DURING THE WINTER:

Multimedia shows are on every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 4 pm, 5 pm, 6 pm, 7 pm, 8 pm and 9 pm. Shows are till February.

Palace of Culture and Science (5)

Palace of Culture and Science is the highest building in Warsaw. In 30th floor is observation deck where you can see panorama of city.

Opening hours observation deck: everyday 10:00-20:00 and from 1.05 to 30.09 in every Fridays and Saturdays also at night in 20:00-23:30.

It is gorgeous, huge park with a lot of monuments i.a. The Palace on the Isle, Chopin Monument and amphitheatre. More info here

Park is open everyday to 10 p.m. - free enter. Buildings you could visit on Monday at 10-14 and from Tuesday to Sunday at 10-18. Prices are here

Fryderyk Chopin - the most eminent polish composer and pianist. From May to September, in every Sunday at 12:00 and 16:00 there are Chopin's concerts where took part eminent pianists. Enter is free.

Warsaw University Botanic Garden (9)

This is one of oldest botanical gardens in Poland – it’s a wonderful place that offers a substitute for the wilds of ‘real’ nature, right in the bustling centre of the city. Garden is opened everyday.

Palace at Wilanow is one of the most beautiful monuments in Warsaw. You can visit him and admire baroque inside and go for a walk on charming park around the Palace.

The Royal Garden of Light (10)

Royal Garden of Lights is outdoor exhibition, which thousands of colored LEDs have been placed in precise shapes. Light installation is ideal for cold and gray evenings. More info here

On weekends you can also enjoy the mapping. This is a three-dimensional display combining light, image and sound. It is displayed on the facade of the palace and uses its architectural elements to create the illusion of an animated building.

Opening hours: from 28th October 2017 to 25th February 2018: 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Mapping show: on Saturdays and Sundays at 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

Ticket price: monday-friday: 10 PLN, saturday-sunday: 20 PLN.

Copernicus Science Centre (25)

One of the most modern institutions of its kind in Europe. In the exhibition „The World on the Move”, for example, one can experience for oneself, how the astronaut Neil Armstrong must have felt, when he was standing on the moon. The exhibition „Re:Generation” makes us aware, what we are afraid of and why. One of the greatest attractions is also the planetarium „The Sky of Copernicus”. 

Opening hours: from Tuesday to Friday: 9:00 - 18:00, on Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 - 19:00 (on July and August from Tuesday to Sunday: 10:00 - 19:00).

Warsaw ZOO (29)

There are animals native to Poland, such as otters, brown bears and storks, but there are also a number of exotic species, such as African elephants, Rothschild giraffes, Indian rhinoceros, gibbons, various species of birds, reptiles and tropical fish.

ZOO is open everyday.

Opening hours: December and January: 9:00-15:30, February and November: 9:00-16:00, March and October: 9:00-17:00, April-September: 9:00-18:00.
